A majority of Bobi Wine’s supporters are in love with the song branding it poetic. They say it’s not for ordinary brains to understand. The critics on the other hand have branded it a whack song that wasn’t worth the wait. They however gave the largest portion of the blame to the producer, Dan Magic.
According to them, the producer has been giving Bobi Wine the same type of beat for his last few songs. It’s why the song is monotonous and doesn’t feel fresh to the ears.
Dan Magic however refuted this and called these critics haters. He primarily pointed out Dembe FM’s talk and talk show panelists, Jenkins Mukasa, Eddie Sendi and Kasuku. To Dan Magic, these moved from being critics to haters. He added that they have never approved or liked anything from Bobi Wine’s camp and are always ill talking it. Besides, Bobi Wine’s songs are never produced by only him but rather a good number of people.
He added that Bobi Wine himself is a music producer. Therefore, by the time he releases a song he has already liked it.
For this Nalumansi song, Dan Magic said that it had some veteran and experienced producers on it. These were Paddyman, Tony Houlz and Bobi Wine himself. The producer apparently doesn’t hear any similarity between Nalumansi and the likes of Kyarenga or Aidah.
In fact, he laughed off these claims adding that if the works of the producers like Paddynan he idolizes are mocked, it lives him in laughter.
Meanwhile, the song is currently trending on number one. It has so far garnered over 300k views in just 6 days of release without even a video.
