Public Appreciates UBC TV For Upgrading The Set Up To Broadcast World Cup

Members of the public have appreciated the efforts of UBC TV to put up a better set while premiering the world cup 2022. For those who can’t access other international channels, UBC is the only authorised station to air the World Cup games for now on behalf of Uganda.

So for many to appreciate the set is because of what they had been offering the previous seasons.

This set was also appreciated by other media personalities who say the improvement is so evident.

“As a media person, I know how much effort went into creating this beautiful set @ubctvuganda. I remember the days when they would just throw a football host on a green screen. I love what our TV is turning into, thank you @MauriceMugisha and the team,” Daniel Lutaaya said.

Much as the UBC TV set was appreciated, some people thought the picture could also get better especially because it’s the national TV.

“I love the World Cup studio set, and I would rather watch UBC than super sport. But the quality of the image,” NBS Journalist Canary Mugume said.

The world cup kicked off yesterday in Qatar with a match between Qatar and Ecuador. This game ended with 2 goals for Ecuador and none for Qatar.
