Putco Bus Shot During Taxi Protest In Pretoria S.A

The incident has happened today ( Friday ) as the violence expanded in Manelodi, where mini bus taxi owners continued to refuse the introduction of the Auto pax bus service / putco bus in the area.

It is said that the Putco bus was shot by four men in a car off Solomon Mahlangu drive and Pretoria road.

Unconfirmed reports say that the driver of the bus is dead and some passengers are injured by the shooting.

The shot woman was taken to Pretoria east hospital where she is receiving medical treatment. South African police service, Tshwane metro police and paramedics have reached on the scene to investigate the situation.

Isaac Mahamba Tshwane Metro police spokes person said that he is to release more reports after a clean investigation is done on what happened.

Tshene Wedi the Putco spokesperson said that the driver of the bus and several travellers are taken to the hospital for medical check up.
