Racism Still An Issue Among The Royals, Meghan And Harry Reveal

Meghan and Harry have revealed that racism is still an issue among the royals. They revealed this during their interview with Oprah Winfrey. The issue of racism came up when Meghan was pregnant with their son Archie. Harry revealed that the royal family would constantly ask the kind of skin colour he would have.

“What will the kids look like? That was at the beginning when she wasn’t going to get security when my family suggested that she might continue acting (because there wasn’t going to be money for her).” He said.

This is obviously not so shocking because it was always out there. Even for the royal family to take in Meghan because she is black was a problem. However, Prince Harry believes that throughout all this time his mum, Princess Diana has been with him. Of course, he pointed out that if she were still here she would be sad about their decision to leave royalty.

“I think she would feel very angry with how this has panned out, and very sad. But ultimately, all she’d ever want is for us to be happy…
I think she saw it coming. I certainly felt her presence throughout this whole process. I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side…Because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her, going through this process by herself all those years ago.” Harry pointed out.

Meghan and Harry looked happy speaking to Oprah like they were uncaged and free now. The two have signed contracts with Netflix and Spotify because the royal family cut them off financially. According to them, their fairytale has a happy ending regardless of all these issues surrounding them.
