However, while replying to one of the followers on his Facebook page, the Baboon Forest CEO revealed that he no longer lights a cigar. This was after the fan reminded him of one incident where they got stuck in the middle of a lake.
The incident was on a private tour of Lake Victoria. The boat they had developed mechanical problems as they were going to Mgamba Island. This follower who was manning the boat reminded the Kikankane singer how the wind kept on blowing out his cigar.
Zamba who was caught by this story also gave his own account of what transpired.
He said that they had fuel shortage and this is a story they always reminisce at his home.
“Hahaha man, we still talk about that story all the time. My wife’s sister was visiting for the first time and you say “mechanical problems now but we think you ran out of kafuta” in the middle of the lake. I was like this is it, we are going to starve and die. Luckily we were saved 3 hours later and made it to the island with my wife and her sister sun banned like crisps. Big Tril was looking shook and I was so glad to have my feet on solid ground.”
