Rapper Keko Returns, Speaks About Releasing International Music

Faded Ugandan female rapper Keko, has returned to the music industry actively and has spoken about releasing new international music for her fans.

Keko was in Uganda’s music industry for so many years. The time she was in the industry, she was topping charts and was doing very fine.

However, later, she decided to move to Canada to start new life and also look for greener pastures. Unfortunately, life didn’t go on like she expected as drugs took a troll on her life.

In 2021, photos and videos of Keko that were released on social media revealed how life is hard for her. Some fans asked the government to return her home so that she works on her health but she wasn’t willing to do that.

After the photos and videos were released, Keko went silent.

She recently became active on social media again releasing photos showing that she has improved and how life is better.

The singer even had an interview with NTV Uganda recently saying she is going to release new music. She said her music will be international because she has fans all over the world.

According to Keko, the reason why her fans still miss her after being quiet for long is because she used to make good music. She said she had to leave kidandali type of music to get an international market for herself.

“When I was making music, I made sure to change my sound so that I do not get caught up in the Kidandali sound, just making music for Ugandans only. I was looking at the international market. My fans still miss me and I am yet to release new music infact international music for all my fans,” Keko said.
