If your a man, do not allow friends or any family member of yours speak ill of your wife. If there is a side to take you need to take your wife’s & find a way to talk to her alone . People will only respect your wife based on the impression you create of her to the outside. Even when you have problems – Respect her for other people to respect her.

A real man doesn’t stand idly while your wife is being attacked, threatened, terrorized or dehumanized by your relatives. Your wife left her family & friends to be with you. Your wife is now your closest relative.

She is now one with you. If you can’t defend her, then who will? If you can’t support her, then who will? Remember, she is called by your name. Whoever attacks your wife is literally and directly attacking you.

God says, “Whoever loves his wife loves himself.” Therefore do what is honorable. Do what is expected of a godly husband. Defend your wife. Support your wife. Love your wife.
