East Africa’s record label giant, Wasafi Classic Records (WCB) has been once again been criticized by several artists who claim that the management mistreats them in several ways.
The latest celebrity to walk out of the label is Sandra Brown, the manager of the sensational bongo artiste Mbosso, who’s real names are Mbwana Yusuph Kilungi.
Sandra Brown who has been Mbosso’s manager for nearly a year left WCB just last week.
Our trusted sources in TZ told Newslex Point that Sandra left Wasafi Classic Records because of frustrations and ill treatments at the label.
According to what we observed, she was being underpaid and she was also working for long hours, she could not stand it anymore and that’s why she decided to quit.
Almah Bronx who also manages East Africa Affairs of Nigerian singer Patoranking was brought in to replace Sandra.
According to Diamond Platnumz’s Wasafi Classic Records arrangement, each singer signed under the platform is allocated with a personal manager.
The label exploits everybody including artistes,’a former WCB worker told Newslex Point.
