During Bobi Wine’s appearance on a certain local TV station, he cleared airwaves about the rumors flying around concerning his canceled Kyarenga concert.
“We had an agreement with the Namboole management and they are backtracking because of the pressure police is putting them on.”
Before assuring fans that the show has to happen no matter what, it should be remembered that with all this, Bobi Wine is still fighting charges put against him by the government for allegedly stoning of the presidents convoy with other several MPs in Arua recently.
And as of now, he’s undoubtedly the leading opposition candidate to be presented because he has such a huge following most especially among the youths who enjoy most of his songs claiming they are inspiring.
The head of police operations said that Bobi Wine was asked to cancel the concert on that planned date citing improper arrangements with the Namboole management.
When Namboole management was contacted about the matter, they simply answered the date that Bobi Wine chose was unavailable, though it’s believed this is a clear plot against him by the people in charge to stop him from attracting large crowds.
