Reigning Miss Tourism Risks Losing Her Title After Demanding Car Prize

Reigning miss tourism, Phiona Kyeru alleged that she was threatened to lose her title for demanding her car prize. The threat is said to have come from Allan Kanyike Bwete, the chief executive officer of Miss Tourism Uganda.

About a year ago, former Miss Tourism, Margaret Kankwazi also had to move in circles as she perused her car prize. As it turns out, Bridget is now facing the same fate.

Reports from a source that is also a reigning regional Miss Tourism said Mr. Kanyike possesses the car but has failed to surrender it.

“Kyeru has to beg in advance to use the car. Additionally, she only gets the car if she is to attend tourism-related functions. Besides that, she has to fuel it by herself,’’ an unnamed source revealed.

According to claims, Kanyike responded with a furious WhatsApp message when Kyeru asked for full access to the car. In the message, he threatened that she had been relieved of her duties and a new queen would be named soon.

The message was to inform the general public that after careful deliberation, the organization had decided to relieve Phiona Kyeru of her duties. It further explained that a new queen would be named soon to take up the role of Miss Tourism Uganda.

Kyeru Phiona’s social media is still silent and she has not yet commented on the matter but we await more hardcore facts on the matter.
