This followed an outbreak of the Ebola virus that prompted a 21-day lockdown in the two districts.
President Museveni declared a 21-day lockdown and curfew in the two areas in order to limit the current Ebola outbreak.
The directive from the president affected a number of people including market vendors, boda-boda cyclists, taxi drivers and conductors among others. These could no longer carry out their daily money generating activities which left them vulnerable.
The government acknowledged in a statement the concerns brought about by the Ebola control measures. It, therefore, revealed that it will act upon the concerns voiced by political leaders from the affected districts.
