One of the events organizers, Eddie Sendi said that the concert will start at 7 pm. However, gates will open as early as 4pm. Apparently, he called upon revelers to come early because the singer won’t have any curtain raisers. Besides, the concert will close by 11:30pm as this is the time that was given to them.
This is because of the fact that the concert is near State House, Nakaseero. They, therefore, don’t want to give the head of state a very difficult time.
Read his statement below;
“We are setting up the stage and it’s almost done. The concert on the D-Day will start as early as 7 pm but gates will be opened at 4pm. Those with tickets will park at Rwenzori Courts and UTL parking for free if they have the tickets. Rema won’t have any curtain raisers, so people should come very early. We don’t want them complaining that their favorite song wasn’t performed. On top of that, the concert has to be closed by 11:30pm. Being that we are near the President’s home, we don’t want to make things difficult,” said Eddie Sendi.
Kampala deputy police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango on the other hand said that security is tight. This is partly because they are working with the SFC.
He went ahead to warn all the thugs that planned to come and snatch people’s valuables. He dared them to try and do so and face the repercussions because the Police Force is as ready as never before.
