The Ruparelia family has enlisted the expertise of professionals to reconstruct the face of Rajiv Ruparelia, whose face was tragically disfigured in a fire-related accident.
On Tuesday, May 6, family and friends will gather to bid their last goodbyes to Rajiv Ruparelia, the son of renowned businessman Sudhir Ruparelia.
Rajiv, who lost his life in a devastating accident on the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway, will be cremated at the Hindu crematorium in Lugogo this afternoon. He was 35 years old.
Reconstruction efforts for open-casket funeral
Specialists have been working diligently to restore the facial features of the deceased, particularly focusing on making it possible for an open-casket ceremony to be held.
Hon. Minsa Kabanda, the Minister for Kampala, paid a visit to the grieving family to offer her condolences and support. She confirmed that efforts to reconstruct Rajiv’s face have been successful, providing some comfort to the family during this difficult time.
