In a move aimed at affording access to clean water to children, Ruparelia Foundation has partnered with Star times to organize this years edition of Kampala kids run.
The event slated for December 8th will run under the theme: ‘Safe drinking water and sanitation in primary schools’.
Ruparelia Foundation as part of its charity and corporate social responsibility programme is partly sponsoring the event to raise money for the good cause.
The event will take place at Uganda Meseum and the proceeds will go towards that initiative.
Star times publicist Cleopatra Koheirwe says the company decided to hold the kids run to raise public awareness about the need for safe water and sanitation in primary schools saying majority of schools lack these facilities hence resulted into health risks.
Ruparelia Foundation tackles education, health, sports and general community support.
