Strong Strains Of Cannabis Could Help Prevent And Treat Coronavirus – Scientists

Scientists from University of Lethbridge in Alberta Canada said they have made a huge discovery in their search for a covid-19 remedy-in form of cannabis or Marijuana.

They said that the strains seems to affect ACE2 routes which the deadly virus uses as an entry point into the body.

During an interview with one of the researchers Kovalchuk Olga, it really shocked us in the first place and it made us happy at the same time.

According to the scientists, cannabis reduces coronavirus entry points into the human body up to 70 percent, this simply means that you can have more chances to fight against it.

‘Our job can have a huge impact – there isn’t many drugs out there that can reduce the infection by 70 to 80%.’

The scientists admitted that more research is required. However, cannabis could possibly be utilized to develop preventive treatments such as the gargle products for mouthwash and throat. CBD is also well-known for treating anxiety and stress. Check out some recommended CBD products here.

Whilst our most successful extracts need further large-scale approval, our study is of a great importance for the future analysis of the results of medical cannabis on coronavirus,’they said.
