Seeta Kasangati, Navigators Record First Wins | Wakiso District 5th Division

The Wakiso District Football Association 5th division league continued with match-day two across the different venues on Friday, 25th February 2022. In the 9 matches played throughout the day, a total of 28 goals were scored.

The debutants, Navigators, registered a sweet 2-0 victory over Nakwero FC at the Kiwafu playground, Entebbe Division B. Former Entebbe FC midfielder Nicodemus Mande Ikest and Ashraf “Neymar” Kigozi scored the goals for the Navigators team.

However, Kisozi fell at their own graveyard 1-0 to visiting Entebbe Police. Benard Gibutai also scored for Entebbe Police.

Kitovu United’s 6-1 home win over MK is the game that produced the most goals. Elsewhere, Seeta Kasangati humiliated visiting Maya Royals 5-0.

At the Nkumba Kataka playground, hosts Nkumba Kataka were denied victory in the closing stages of the game by Calvary with a late penalty by Tony Mukorea.

However, midway in the second half, Denis Mukasa gave Nkumba Kataka the lead. Eventually, he later turned villain when he handled the ball in the forbidden area.

Meanwhile, Lucky Stars lost 2-3 to Bakka who recorded their second win of the season after beating Kitovu United 1-0 on matchday one.

The Wakiso District Football Association organized the 5th division league with the successful clubs qualifying to the fourth division league.
