Serena Bata Asks Sipapa To Forget About Her

Local female singer Serena Bata has come out to ask her ex-husband and manager Sipapa to forget about her. Serena Bata said that the socialite should accept reality and move on.

She went ahead to say that she doesn’t understand why Sipapa has gone ahead to talk ill about her. The Bikalubye singer said that she’s appreciative of what Sipapa did for her but she chose a new management.

She also addressed the rumors that failure to give him a child led to their breakup.

“I wanted to ask my management to get Sipapa a table on my launch so that he can see the work he started. Sipapa made me what I am today and I can’t talk ill about him. I’m just surprised that he goes around soiling my name but he has to accept that I moved on. He has other women but me I’m single and okay. It’s not that me refusing to give him a child made us break up. It was just God’s timing,” the singer said.

Sipapa has been going around cursing Serena after her song with Nina Roz titled Gwantama. Sipapa did not take the song which talks about abusive men in relationships lightly.

He deemed it as a personal attack and has been throwing shots at his ex. Serena Bata however denied this saying the song was sung for her fans.

She’s currently contracted under Abitex promotions of events promoter Abbey Musinguzi.

Serena Bata a few days ago said that she regrets the 8 years she spent with Sipapa because her career could have been far superior to now.
