Serena Bata Claims Abitex Is Threatening To Kill Her

The row between singer Serena Bata and events promoter Abitex seems to be deepening with each day that goes by. Serena Bata has now alleged that the promoter is threatening her.

While appearing in an exclusive interview with Sanyuka TV’s Uncut show, she said that Abitex promised to end her life.

He told her that if he ever finds her, he will knock her dead. This is because one of them has to die. He further swore that he won’t let her live if he doesn’t get what he wants.

The Bikalubye singer added that she doesn’t know what exactly Abitex wants. This is because he shows that he wants both the money and songs. The former wife to socialite Sipapa also detailed how the events promoter once grounded her. This was after she openly asked for a collaboration with Bebe Cool live on air.

“Honestly, I don’t know what Mzee Abitex wants. This is because he shows that he wants both the money and songs at once. He’s even reached a point of threatening me. Once he told me that if he ever finds me, he will run his vehicle over me. He did a lot of nasty things which I had to handle on my own. One day I wished Bebe Cool a happy birthday and requested to work with him. Abitex grounded me for 3 weeks asking how I could ask a song from Bebe Cool,” she said.

She added that she has always followed the agreement they signed while starting out. And finally when they go to court, she’s sure that she will win the case.

However, Abitex says that he owns all the songs she did under his management. She therefore doesn’t have the right to perform them without his permission.
