Apparently someone seemed to land on Shakib’s archived photos and started releasing them slowly to the Internet.
One thing that is for sure is that he’s been around the entertainment industry for quite long. He’s got photos with almost every artist at a stage where they still looked young.
He’s got photos with the likes of Bebe Cool, Radio and Weasel, Dr Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine, Grenade Official. Besides, he’s also got a photo with Nigerian singer Burna Boy at a time when he was yet to break through.
Now, after becoming a trend, he came out to address the issue. He revealed that he started hustling at quite a young age. And this was just 15 years.
“Started hustling at 15 while others were still playing tag. Age is just a number, but our grind is timeless. twabuuka mangu”
Everyone is now questioning his age saying that there is no way his years are what he says. It should be recalled that in 2022, he claimed to be 31 years.
That would make him about 33 now but netizens are not convinced at all. Some joked that he might have been present at the signing of the 1900 Buganda Agreement.
Furthermore, others said that he definitely is not over a decade younger than his wife, Zari as per the claims. Shakib even did a live video with Zari addressing the issue.
He humorously said that it’s true he has been around since time immemorial. And so has photos with the likes of Herman Basudde, Elly Wamala among others. Therefore, all those who claimed that Zari is older than him should apologize to the Boss Lady.
