The two heavyweight musicians joined forces with other musicians months ago and they have been advancing the copyright law. Yesterday the federation’s leaders met with government officials to see how far they have reached.
Sheebah was questioned why she decided to stand with the Big Talent boss. The singer said that she stands for her truth always. And this is one of them. Besides she’s one of those musicians who has been affected by the lack of a copyright law.
She’s not only doing this for herself but for the industry at large. And she knows there is nothing wrong with what they are pursuing.
“I stand for this cause because I have always stood firm for what I believe in. And this is one of them. I’m also affected by the lack of a copyright law. It hurts me that someone is eating from my music and not me. Therefore, I’m willing to fight for it in every way I can,” she said.
Apparently, the Nakyuka singer was asked about Bobi Wine’s remarks that they received 30 billion shillings from the government. Kenzo quickly answered for her and said that he already answered that in an earlier interview.
Besides, anyone who has a question in regards to the NUP president should ask him and not his vice president.
Additionally, Sheebah said that she didn’t watch what Bobi Wine said because she doesn’t concern herself with what’s not her business.
