This happened during a farewell ceremony that also acted as a handover ceremony for the new RDC Mwine Pulikalia Muhindo.
The function took place at Senevin garden in Kabwohe town Sheema municipality, Sheema district.
LCV chairperson Him Jemimah Buhanda said Kyereere showed leaders the right way guiding them very well during the Covid-19 times in the district.
She also thanked Kyereere for doing his job passionately, without any regret on issues concerning development in the district. She further pledged to work with the new RDC Muhindo.
Bushenyi district Chairperson Hon Jafari Basajabaraba described Kyereere as a hardworking man. He said the outgoing RDC spoke a loud voice and whatever he could spearhead would be done.
Muhindo, the new RDC Sheema pledged to work for the development of the district.
The Guest of honor, Hon Emphraim Kamuntu a senior advisor to the president hailed Kyereere for the good thing he did in his tenure.
He also promised to personally meet the president so that they can appoint Kyereere on another post.
On his turn, Kyereere thanked the people of Sheema for giving him a chance to work with them. And also for every assistance they were giving him while in office.
He also thanked the President of the Republic of Uganda who doubles as the chairperson NRM for allowing him to serve in this position for over 5 yrs.
He advised the new RDC to always engage news reporters to allow people to know about government programs.
