Sheila Gashumba Hits Out At Critics Over NBS After 5 Job

Media personality Sheila Gashumba has come out to hit back at critics over her new job as one of the show hosts of NBS After 5 program. The presenter was unveiled yesterday after a number of days with the show teasing it’s audience.

Gashumba who boasts a number of years of experience in the TV industry in Uganda was criticized by many after she quit NTV a few years ago. She went ahead to accuse the Serena-based station of meager payment and this got a number of people talking.

Many thought that she wouldn’t ever grace Ugandan TV again. She however said that it doesn’t need common sense to see why she chose NBS.

Sheila cited a high paycheque and the best presenters at the station as one of the reason she joined the station.

“Common sense isn’t common, there is a reason why Douglas and Kats left to another station (better cheque) and there is a reason why the best tv presenter has joined the best tv station @nbstv
Do ur research and stop the noise and don’t forget to watch the show from Monday to Friday,” Sheila said.

She further revealed that she got the job and it was through her ex NTV workmate, Douglas Lwanga.

Sheila Gashumba revealed that she got a call from Lwanga to meet NBS CEO Kin Kariisa. The CEO then provided a juicy irresistible deal to her.

The socialite after the announcement started trending on different media platforms. She joked about her trending and said that all she wanted to talk to is her boyfriend, Rickman.
