Singer Fille Mutoni Admits To Having Used Drugs In The Past

Songstress Fille Mutoni came out yesterday in an interview with Spark TV to confirm how she used drugs in the past that almost derailed her career.

Fille said that as musicians, they are faced with a number of challenges and the only thing they are left with is drugs to comfort them.

This follows turbulent years the “No money” singer had in the recent past especially due to her relationship with baby daddy MC Kats who was also her manager.

The two bitterly broke up after Kats publicly came out to reveal he is HIV positive.

Fille soon slipped into severe depression

She came out in a TV interview accusing Kats of selfishness and inconsideration. She said he should have consulted her before coming out to declare his status.

Fille then went off scene after that interview in 2019 for close to two years and only appeared recently.

Fille who was found in the gym working out to shed off the excessive weight she had put on said she’s not working out to attract men’s attention but rather her health.

She also said that she’s used to people who body sham her for being fat.

Fille later on talked about her battle with drugs and how her new management is helping her overcome that experience.

“I put on extra weight especially in the lockdown because we weren’t working. I have been experiencing breathing problems when I walk for short distances hence deciding to exercise out.

I’m not doing it for any man but for my health. I have so far reduced from 86kg to 83kg. I want to thank Maritine Music because they have really helped me to overcome my stress and depression.

I’ve been battling drugs and I won’t deny that I have never used them but am on the road to recovery now.” Fille said.

See was in the company of fellow label mate Barbaritah with whom she has a new song with title “Essawa Yonna”.

Fille advised the young people out there to desist from the use of drugs and always seek for help.

She said she will sensitize the masses about the dangers of drug abuse once she fully recovers.
