Singer Geosteady Brands The Late Philly Bongole Lutaaya’s Family Selfish

Singer Geosteady has said that the family of the late Singer, Philly Bongole Lutaaya is proving to be selfish. And this is not just them but to everyone who doesn’t want their music especially the deceased ones, to be redone.

It should be recalled that the late Born In Africa singer’s family threatened to jail legal action against those who redo Philly’s music. This was after Eddy Kenzo did a remake of the Born In Africa song.

Geosteady however doesn’t see any problem with this. And if there is anything, people should be grateful that such musicians are celebrated.

It should be recalled that Geosteady is one of the musicians who has a remake of a decreased artist’s song. This was Elly Wamala’s Viola song which he redid beautifully.

The self-styled Blackman however advised any musician intending to redo a song to talk to a family member of the particular artist.

This was what he did as he talked to Elly Wamala’s daughter Phiona Mukasa. Also, he said that if a musician can’t do a good remake, they shouldn’t do the song in the first place.

“I don’t see anything wrong with a singer redoing a song of a deceased musician. This only shows the level of selfishness that our country is diving into. People should be grateful that this music is redone and pushed further. I however advise any musician planning to redo someone’s song to seek permission from a family member. For my case, I spoke with Phiona Mukasa, the late Elly Wamala’s daughter. I don’t have any problem with my songs being redone when I die,” he said.

Furthermore, the singer distanced himself from a tweet that recently surfaced on his Twitter page. This was saying that it was a grave mistake to fall in love with his ex and baby mama, Prima Kardashi.

Apparently, the tweet said she no longer embarrasses but now ashames herself. The singer revealed that he has his official social media handles. And this message definitely wasn’t released by any of them.
