The first one was when he had gone to perform at a show in Toronto. Apparently the singer was in company of his buddies when someone brought weed.
According to the Okwepicha singer, he had been smoking the herb but this happened to be so strong for him.
After smoking, he felt like excusing himself. He then asked his friends if he could remove his clothes and run. Standing up in the room, he started urinating thinking he was in the toilet.
Another time he was at Jah Live studios on Salaama road. He again smoked weed and went to start his car. Although the car had started, he didn’t notice it. He started punching his friend accusing them of stealing his battery.
From then on, he stopped using drugs as he knew that they were too strong for his head.
“I had been smoking weed all along but not the heavy one. This one day we happened to be in Tororo where I had a show. One of the boys brought weed which he said was from a cemetery. We smoked and it was so strong and made me lose myself. I asked my buddies if I could remove my trousers and run. Later I stood in the middle of the room thinking I was in a toilet and started urinating.”
“Again via group influence, I smoked around Jah Live and went to start my car. I ended up boxing my friend thinking they had stolen my battery but it was there. From there, I just knew my head is too weak for weed and I stopped it,” he said.
The singer advised youths out there to stop using heavy drugs because they are dangerous. He’s not the only musician that has come out to advise the public against drug abuse.
