While appearing on Spark TV, the singer said that she has may problems she would like to tell the General if she ever gets the chance.
In recent times, the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) head, Gen Salim Saleh has become a darling among musicians.
“I haven’t gone to Gulu yet but if I get the chance of meeting Gen Saleh, I would tell him my personal problems, those of my family and friends.” The singer said.
The host asked why she needs the help yet she hasn’t released any music for now. The Tompona singer said it’s not true that she hasn’t been singing as she released a song titled Nyumirwa with Jose Chameleone last year. She said that she wasn’t able however to promote it as she lost a number of close family members.
Leila Kayondo also explained why Chameleone has gifted her more than two collabos.
“It’s not true that I don’t have any music. I released a song titled Nyumirwa with Jose Chameleone but couldn’t promote it because I lost my father, brother, mother and friends all in a short space. I have worked with Chameleone because he understands me very well and calls me his kids auntie.” Leila said.
She was also asked whether she nolonger has any booming music. Leila said that music is her thing which she does even when she’s abroad chilling.
They then asked whether she’s always chilling with men, Leila denied the allegations saying that she can even rent a hotel room in Las Vegas and spend a week there alone.
