Ronald Alimpa has been in the media ever since he became famous last year with his song ‘Lusuku lwa cementi’.
Sometimes his reasons for being in the media are positive while most times they’re negative. This has put his brand on a slippery path.
At the end of last year, the singer was in the media after an accident that happened to him and other artists as they went to perform in a village.
Some of his friends died while he survived with severe injuries. But even before healing, he was trending after attacking his mother.
Then again he trended after eating promoter’s money in Masaka and failing to show up to perform. This case is still active in courts of law even as Ronald Alimpa moves up and down to make sure it is solved.
Now the singer is again trending after performing at a certain stage days ago where he was dressed in an NRM shirt. This made people conclude that he has crossed.
However, according to Alimpa, he is not into politics, and dressing him in an NRM yellow t-shirt didn’t mean anything as he was just performing. He asked people to stop spreading fake rumors.
“I am not a politician and I have not crossed to any political party. I was dressed in NRM t-shirt as I performed somewhere but that meant nothing. And I am just a musician like any other trying to build my brand,” he said.
