Sipapa’s Case Hearing Gets Postponed Again

Socialite Charles Olim aka Sipapa had himself sent back to Luzira Prison after court postponed his case hearing again. The postponement happened again despite his transfer to the High Court.

According to Mr. Geoffrey Turyamusiima, Sipapa’s lawyer, they expected this postponement to happen. However, though, he has hope that this time around they will come out victorious.

According to the lawyer, the postponement came as a result of the prosecutor claiming he could not proceed with the case.

This is apparently because he had not photocopied some of his work and needed to gather more details for his file.

The judge decided to postpone the case to a later date following the government prosecutor’s claims. This means that Sipapa will have to return to court.

The next case hearing will reportedly happen on November 20, 2023, at the High Court. His lawyer hopes it will go in their favor.

Sipapa has been in prison for over a year now and some of his close associates are calling for his release.

This is apparently because the case so far has taken several twists. The socialite together with his wife got remanded to Luzira prison over aggravated robbery charges.

Since then, he has been in and out of court a couple of times with no ruling from a judge.
