Snoop Dogg Painfully “Quits” Smoking “Weed”

American legendary rapper Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr popularly known as Snoop Dogg has announced that he has quit smoking weed. Taking to his social media pages, the “Doggy Style” rapper said that after much consideration with his family, he decided to quit lighting up “spliffs”

Further, he asked the public to respect his privacy during this difficult time.

“After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”

This has come as a huge surprise to his fans, Hip-hop lovers and those that know him. Apparently the rapper has never shied away from expressing his love and adoration for the green herb.

Besides his music, the rapper and actor is known for his weed-smoking and it’s like the love of his life.

Speaking at the induction ceremony of the late rapper, Tupac into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, Snoop said that it was the Dear Mama rapper who introduced him to smoking weed.

Be it in his free time, on shows, interviews or anywhere, the 52-year-old had never been shy to light up a joint and puff away some heat.

It’s not clear if this incident is as a result of any health complications or if it’s just a decision by the family.

However, this brings to end a love story between the rapper and the ‘Mary Jane’ herb. Snoop Dogg will always be remembered as the man who lost count of the times he smoked the herb.
