Sophie Nantongo Opens Up About Her Issues With Eddy Kenzo

Famous singer Sophie Nantongo has opened up about her issues with fellow singer and president of musicians under the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo.

She said Eddy Kenzo made a statement which made her realize that the singer is not a good leader but a dictator.

Eddy Kenzo formed the Uganda National Musicians Federation back in May 2023. Sheebah, Pallaso and Juliana Kanyomozi were appointed as the deputies in the federation.

Different musicians joined with the aim of fighting for the copy right law but after a few months some artistes started leaving the federation.

Some of these musicians revealed that the federation is not doing what they told them they were supposed to do.

Infact some artistes accused Eddy Kenzo of being greedy and fighting to get money from the government for his personal use.

Sophie Nantongo is one of the people that were part of the Federation and she has spoken about her experience there.

According to Sophie Nantongo, she is not happy with Eddy Kenzo’s leadership. She said the singer doesn’t think a lot before speaking hence making some bad statements.

Talented beautiful Sophie Nantongo said she heard Eddy Kenzo saying a certain word and it was more of a dictatorship statement.

“Sometimes, you want to tell someone something, but the way you bring it out might be the problem. I have no issue with Eddy Kenzo or the federation, but when I heard him use the phrase ‘Twabawambye,’ I felt like it was dictation,” .-Sophie Nantongo.
