Spice Diana Denies Fighting For Musicians’ Food

Local musician Hajarah Namukwaya aka Spice Diana has come out to refute claims that she hijacked Uganda Musicians Association’s food distribution campaign.

UMA over the weekend distributed food to some of it’s members to make sure they survive the lockdown.

For Spice Diana’s food, it was delivered by DJ Michael. They questioned why he delivered food to the Body singer yet she’s in a rival group, Uganda Superstars Association, Michael said he did not know this.

He howver said that Spice Diana is a good friend of his who has a big charitable heart. Therefore when someone is charitable, they are also blessed and given to by others.

The muko muko singer said that the situation in the country doesn’t know who is a superstar and who is not. She therefore might get to a point where she needs the food.

However, as soon as she got the food, the singer also donated it to some of her fans. About 150 fans got posho, sugar, juice among other foodstuffs. Spice Diana also said that despite being a superstar, she does not decline any form of help.

“Am grateful to UMA for the great gesture. I made a plea to the companies that I represent to give more aid since I wanted to donate some to my team Spice Gadgets. These companies helped and gave me some amenities which I gave out today…” The singer said in part.

Spice Diana also addressed the issue of her being in Uganda Superstars Association yet she took UMA’s food. She said that she’s open to joining any group that thinks she will add value to them.
