Spice Diana Sets Ritah Dancehall Free After Public Pressure

Musician Hajarah Namukwaya aka Spice Diana and her Source Management team, have finally released dancer, Ritah Dancehall from prison.

The singer faced a lot of public backlash after she had Ritah sent behind bars on Sunday.

Apparently, Ritah was jailed for defamation after her scathing comments about Spice Diana concert. On top of saying that Spice Diana’s concert was so boring, she, later on, said she was getting death threats. These were from Spice Diana and her team.

Since a one Nsamba last year died from her place, Ritah said that she’s afraid. While being taken to jail on Sunday, she called out Source Management for being cowards. She added that she won’t apologize to them because they know the truth.

Consequently, Spice Diana started being called out by social media users. They wondered how she could have such a fragile ego and could send a fellow girl to jail.

Singer Sheebah Karungi also said that she believes there was a better way to sort this saga. She added that she was going to mediate between the two parties.

After that, a press conference was held and Ritah was released from jail. She apologized in the face of the camera but her apology looked so forced.

“I want to apologize to singer Spice Diana and her team for all the words that I said. I’m sorry and we have forgiven each other of all the grudges. I have no beef against her and she doesn’t too against me,” said Ritah.

Spice Diana too on the other hand said that she has no problem with Ritah. It was just the nature of her allegations that forced her to report the case.

“Basically I have no problem against this girl. I just reported the case because someone alleging that you sent them death threats is not something easy. I had to do it so quick just in case of any unfortunate incident,” said Spice Diana.
