Hon Ssegirinya Expresses Bitterness Towards NUP Deputy Spokesperson Alex Mufumbiro

Kawempe North Member of Parliament Hon Ssegirinya Muhammad has expressed bitterness towards NUP Deputy Spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro.

He said Mufumbiro should never show up at his burial because what he did in his sickness was very evil.

Hon Ssegirinya has been sick for some time. He said he struggles with his liver and skin cancer for which he is on medication for. When he was in prison, he didn’t access outside doctors for special treatment.

He said that affected him so much. After he came out, he revealed that his health worsened hence flying out to get better treatment. He was first taken to Germany then the Netherlands where he has been for almost a month.

For the time Hon Ssegirinya was in the hospital, he cried out for financial help. He said he has been trying his level best but the hospital bills are a problem. He said the government is not helping him and neither is his party National Unity Platform.

As a spokesperson, Alex Mufumbiro came out to address Hon Ssegirinya’s financial problems. He said this MP is not sick at all, he is just pretending to be sick.

According to Mufumbiro, he has never seen a cancer patient like Ssegirinya. On hearing that, Ssegirinya wasn’t happy with him.

In his interview, as he returned from the hospital, Hon Ssegirinya Muhammad said he hated Mufumbiro and he wouldn’t want him at his burial.

“I wouldn’t want NUP Deputy Spokesperson, Waiswa Alex Mufumbiro at my burial. He was making false statements about my health,” he said.
