Nganda who is the FDC spokesperson said that people who expected the cabinet to perform were far from reality.
The legislator’s remarks were directed at NRM secretary-general with whom he was appearing alongside on the NBS Morning Breeze program.
“What surprises me is that Hon. Todwong says he is optimistic the new cabinet will deliver. Deliver what?” Ssemujju questioned.
Ssemujju who recently lost miserably in the race for speaker of parliament also added that the budget passed recently was far from promising.
He further said this was a consumptive budget NRM passed. He meant that the government by this only cares about spending about what pleases it not actually the welfare of people and what is on ground.
“In the just-read budget, nothing has changed, it’s going to be a consumptive budget. It’s NRM that passed this and you understand when I say that.” Ssemujju said.
Ssemujju Nganda continued to air his opinions about the new cabinet saying for it to perform, it has to have a better supervisor.
He said that if the supervisor is not good, then he is most likely to find trouble implementing his plans. This implies that President Museveni was not any better than the choice of candidates he made.
He likened the situation to a company having a good structure when the CEO is below par.
