This came after Bajjo through the promoters’ association released a document including the standard prices for paying artistes.
Bajjo didn’t only talk about the prices he continued to call some musicians names. According to Bajjo, some artistes are idiots and dogs asking for money from promoters that they are not worth. He mentioned Juliana Kanyomozi and Pallaso as those artistes that ask for much money.
Like any other leader in the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), Jeff said Bajjo is being so much disrespectful when it comes to musicians. He said Bajjo doesn’t realize that the statements he makes are so destructive to people’s brands. These people have built for a long time.
Ekongot said it’s absurd that Bajjo is forgetting that the music industry is the one that feeds him. And it is a stupid move to bite hands that put food in your mouth.
“Mr. Bajjo needs to be mindful of what he says and how he says it. If only he knew that some statements he makes in pride are destructive to the same industry that feeds him, he would have humbled himself,” Jeff Ekongot said.
Bajjo replied saying he can’t take back his words because he meant what he said. He added that he has nothing to discuss with people who have never invested any coin in the music industry.
