Stecia Mayanja Says No Artiste Visited Her While In Hospital

Ugandan legendary musical artiste Hajjat Stecia Mayanja was attacked by a strange disease last month. She was admitted to Nakasero Hospital where the doctors first put her in intensive care unit for several days as they closely watched her health condition.

It was a Saturday evening when she started complaining of headache, abdominal complications and general body weakness. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors later diagnosed her with high blood pressure.

The ‘Bitambula’ Hit maker nearly lost her life due to high blood pressure.

She was confirmed out of danger and discharged, according to her manager Sir Lawrence. She is however not happy with her fellow musicians in the entertainment industry.

In her latest interview, Stecia expressed her disappointment with musicians over failure to visit her in Nakasero Hospital.

Only Evelyn Lagu came through. I think artistes failed to come because they didn’t expect cameras to watch them,” she explained.

However, all this happened at a time when Hajjat Stecia Mayanja is a single mom. She was deserted by her husband Mubiru Abbas, who traveled out of the country a few years back shortly after their wedding.

Published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, musician Evelyn Lagu is currently going through a serious health problem that needs a lot of money to treat. This should be a lesson and warning to all artists. Evelyn Lagu, now Evelyn Love, has been battling Kidney disease for more than a year now.

Currently, she is soliciting millions of cash to finance a kidney transplant to save her life. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have half the money she needs.

This is not the first time an artist is soliciting money for health-related issues. We have had very many celebrities run to the public for help when they are at the wall. For example, Martin Angume among others.
