Faded singer Record Ela Butida has come out to detail his family woes that saw his mother wish death upon him. The singer said that his brother slept with his wife and this was the genesis of all their problems.

It should be recalled that recently, an audio of Record Ela Butida’s mother surfaced. She was heard cursing her own son and wishing death upon him.

According to her, the singer has brought nothing but shame and embarrassment towards her name. She, therefore, wouldn’t mind if he died and this would actually be a good thing for her.

The singer now in an interview has come out to first and foremost apologize to his mother. He said that there is nothing that he treasures in this world as his mother. Her words of wishing him death therefore broke his heart.

But all this originated from his song that he recently released titled Mawano. According to the singer, his brother slept with his wife and the family doesn’t want him to talk about it.

When he released this song detailing how his wife and brother double-crossed him, his family started coming at him. This is silently paining him and he’s on the verge of mental collapse.

Furthermore, he revealed that he’s going to cut off the dreads and look for a responsible job. This is if all these please his mother because she’s his everything.

“The words that my mother said hurt me because I love her more than anything else. I therefore want to apologize to her for all the wrong things that I have done that angered her. It’s never been my intention to hurt her. However all this started after my brother slept with my wife. This hurt me so much and I’m still hurting up to now. I’m just a walking dead man because I have no one to share my pain with. If it meant running mad, my mother’s words surely can send me there. I released a song called Mawano because what my brother and wife did is abominable. The song however rubbed some people wrong including my family,” said the singer.

He further added that all this is being brought about because he is financially broke. By the time he was still with Sipapa, he used to have money and his family loved him so much.

He recalls one time when his mother was critically ill. She told the singer that he has never helped her in anything apart from singing silly songs such as Bakabasajja Banyuma that embarrass her. This also hurt him so much but he just kept quiet.

He’s now vowed to work harder so that his mother can love him again because no one wants a broke person. Besides he has no father to guide him in what to do. The singer also denied rumors of smoking marijuana.
