Swangz Avenue's Zafaran Lists Qualities Of Her Ideal Man

Swangz Avenue Singer Zafaran Reveals Why The Label Signs Only Women

Swangz Avenue Singer Zafaran has come out to reveal why the label signs predominantly female singers. During an exclusive interview on a local TV she was posed with this question. According to the Ankuba singer, women are easy to manage.

Besides, men were created to rule. They aren’t like women who easily follow what they are told to do. However, she added that women also do this if it truly benefits them.

“I think women are easy to manage. Men naturally were created to rule, and not to be ruled unlike women who easily follow what they are told if it truly benefits them,” she replied.

Apparently, the label came into existence back in the early 2010s. Their first signing was the brilliant Irene Ntale. She did exceptionally well and although her talent was undeniable, Swangz put in a lot of effort. No wonder her career went on a spiral decline after she left the label.

After Ntale’s exit, the label which is owned by former singer Benon Mugumbya and businessman Julius Kyazze went on to prize other female singers. These have turned out to be Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, Azawi and Zafaran herself.

All of them are doing exceptionally fine except Zafaran who is yet to find her footing. But for the other three, the label has really invested resources and time in them.

They are without a doubt among the best singers in the country. The only male singer signed to the label is Elijah Kitaka who was also brought on board not so long ago. His exceptional talent could have helped him to make the cut to the label.

Meanwhile, Zafaran revealed that she joined the music industry after her parents failed to raise tuition for her university. She hopes to make them proud and also complete her studies one day.
