Tamale Mirundi’s Family Request Gov’t To Build For Them Mirundi Plaza

The family of late political analyst and presidential advisor Tamale Mirundi has requested the government to help them honor their father like he had wanted while still alive.

They said that they want the government to help them build Mirundi Plaza which will have shops, a library, a park, and some rental places.

One of his daughters known as Nantongo revealed that she used to have close conversations with the father. He told her that before he dies, he would wish to construct a plaza.

Unfortunately, he died suddenly at the age of 60 years before fulfilling some of the dreams that he had always wanted for himself and his family.

Tamale Mirundi was very controversial to the point where he said that he supported government but used to expose some of the government officials on different matters. With the request made by his family, it is not clear whether the government will honour any of them.

“Our father aspired to leave a lasting legacy through Mirundi Plaza. He dreamed of creating a significant landmark in his home area, with plans to construct a storage building and a park that would include a library, shops, and rental spaces. Our prayer and request to the government is to honor his memory by fulfilling this vision and ensuring that his legacy lives on,” – Nantongo, Tamale Mirundi’s daughter said.
