Taylor Swift Officially Endorses Kamala Harris For US Presidency

American Pop Singer Taylor Swift has officially endorsed the Democrat candidate Ms. Kamala Harris for the US Presidency. It should be noted that the singer holds a lot of influence, especially amongst young people on the internet across the world.

Known as the Swifties, these millions of fans are like a cult with the singer being its hero. For some time, she has single-handedly influenced polls especially those that are done online in favor of a particular person. And with the US presidential elections around the corner, influential figures are already picking sides.

Republican flag bearer, Donald Trump recently left up in joy after it was alleged that the singer had endorsed him. This was later found to be a hoax.

Now taking to her Instagram page, the Cruel Summer singer gave her green light in favor of the Democrats, Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz. She said that the previous ‘endorsement’ by her for Trump was in fact an AI-generated one.

Taylor Swift wrote in a statement below;

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. And I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader. I believe we can accomplish so much more in the country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades,’’ the singer partly wrote.

The 34-year-old also rallied fellow voters to make their own research before picking their candidates as she had done hers already.
