The 2020 Effect May Take Years To Heal If Not Properly Handled

The year 2020 has had a great effect on all of us that if not properly handled, we may never heal. Leave alone the coronavirus which was of course the biggest talk of the year. A lot of things went on, the 2020 effect is even greater than the virus itself. We had a lot of time to do what we probably didn’t have time previously. People got so used to waking up to do a lot of nothing because we had free government food anyway, or was it.

Till now, some people have not yet healed from the 2020 mode. Many people think they still have the same free time as they did. The Laziness that cropped in during 2020 involuntarily is now voluntarily embraced. Some students don’t even want to go back to school because life without books seemed enjoyable to them in 2020.

Up until now, some people are still unemployed after losing their work during the lockdown season. What should be done? People don’t even want to go to church anymore because they have the online provision now. Something should definitely be done about this. Clearly, people need Sensitization, and the time is now.

What the media can do;

Media should probably play a bigger role now because they have so much following from the people. Programs should be created to help people wake you from the effect of 2020. It seems negligible now but if 20% of the students are not back in school because they don’t want to, then years from now the country will be in trouble. If people don’t want to go to church and prefer online, then the spirituality of people will soon be alarming.

What people should know!

People should know that we are moving on and they should move along. Now more than ever, counselors have so much to do than ever before to help the world. Not to forget those who lost their people due to Covid-19, the trauma is undeniable. However, we must intend to move on and go ahead, wake up from the nightmare of 2020 collectively.
