Three Burnt Female Bodies Dumped In Kasubi Leave Police Puzzled

Last week, on Saturday morning, unknown people dumped a body burnt beyond recognition near the Kasubi Tombs. The body had missing body parts when the police found it. This, therefore, prompted the Old Kampala Police Station to commence investigations into the murder. They then thought this to be a ritual murder.

The very next day, Sunday 14, at the same spot, police discovered yet another body, also burnt beyond recognition. This prompted the police to pull out CCTV camera footage to help them track the killers. They arrested one person who they suspected to be the owner of the car that dropped off the body.

The arrest gave them hope of an imminent breakthrough, but another body still appeared at the same spot the following day.

The question on everyone’s mind is who could be killing women in this barbaric fashion, and why.

The chairman of Mutumba Zone six, Steven Nsereko described the experience as traumatic waking up to a burnt body of an unknown person.

‘’My people got worried when a total of three bodies were found dumped after being killed in a similar fashion. We are in utter shock over these murders because we don’t know when they will stop,’’ Nsereko said.

Similar killings happened in Nansana and in Entebbe and have now extended to Kasubi. The biggest worry, however, is that they never see the bodies being dumped there no matter how hard they look. They just wake up in the morning and the bodies appear to be there.
