A Ghetto has no simpler definition, but as the routine goes around, days and nights hustling, thriving and surviving deep down in ghetto. Battling is on, but the difference is that the most fight to become survivors than thrivers, which makes people over there to drown in the waters of fear to prosper, and successes, yet people do not drown in those waters by falling in, but by staying in waters of cecity!

Indiscipline and drug abuse are among the major factors, that makes natives of the pearl of Africa fearful of the ghetto living, thus making it a hell on earth than a joy garden of the ghetto rising youths. Many up strokes have been put against these slum societies, as seen above and others like theft, pandemic diseases, illness in sanitation as the endless list goes.
Advantages of Ghetto society!
But as Henry David Thoreau quoted, “Things do not change, we as human beings change “Ghetto society has not changed, but the up rosen people have tried to change it, where by the biggest percentage of the population in Uganda who have become mentors of the most young generations now days, have grown up from slum areas, for example I DRIS Musuuza aka eddy kenzo ,Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine. etc
Therefore people should not be timorous about the ghetto living, but should make it a joyful place, because it risen and nurtured successful people too, which makes it mores precious than the older days where it was diminished, and seen totally down. The Pearl of Africa has ripen so much from the low timorous Ghetto in form of talents like footballer, and so many others.
Even as we’re talking, Kyagulanyi Sentamu, AKA Bobie Wine is a testament of this, he grow up in such places, he’s now a member of parliament, he’s not the first neither is he the last.
Disadvantages of ghetto society!
Such places are located within the suburbs of the city centres. In Uganda, places like Namuwongo, Bwaise, Kamwokya – kifumbira, Nateete, Makerere Kikoni and etc, have got the biggest ghetto places in Kampala. These places are gifted with people of different behaviours and characters.
These places have the highest crime rates and of which in most cases lead to dead. Unemployment is also another issue, many parents in these places are so poor, where by they cannot even afford to take their children to school. When these children grow up, no one would wish to employ them, and yet they need money, in the process, they begin pick-pocketing especially in the night.
Hope the Ghetto is given an established emancipation by the government of Uganda, because every disadvantage has an advantage in the cycling society.
May God continue to bless the fearful Ghetto in Uganda and continue having an inspiring society across the country.
