According to her, the journalists should be the middlemen between the government and the public. To her disappointment however, it doesn’t seem so. She blamed journalists for jumping on the ‘I choose Peace’ campaign when the military was mishandling people. This to her was the most appropriate time for media to condemn military acts but they remained quiet.
“Since Y’all Chose peace and peace is not working out, what next?” She asked
She was not only bitter with journalists but also with celebrities, especially musicians. Tina blamed them for always coming out when they need help from the public. At times when the public is crying out, most celebrities go quiet like nothing is going on.
Meanwhile, she set the record straight and said she feels sorry for the journalists who were beaten. However, journalists should do better when it comes to condemning these brutal acts even when they happen to the public.
