Ugandan legendary female singer Iryn Namubiru has revealed she’s not a fan of lake water. In fact she has a phobia for it and can’t dare step in a lake.

Taking to her social media pages, she posted a picture of herself staring at a Lake from afar. She then added how she just looks by this water and moves on.

“That Lake water, I only remained with looking at it from a distance and keeping quiet. I can’t dare step in it. GOD is good and powerful,” she said.

It should be noted that the Nkuweki singer was one of the fortunate survivors on the MV Templar boat accident in 2018. This boat which had a group of corporates capsized on Lake Victoria and ended up killing 33 people.

The singer could have been among those that perished but luckily for her, rescuers managed to get to her before it was late.

It now seems since then, she has always suffered from this traumatic experience. It all explains why she can’t set her foot into a lake.
