It should be noted that this competition is a spin-off of the main AGT competition. And it’s dubbed America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.
The winner walks away with a cash prize of Shs 900m. The Triplet Ghetto Kids would earn this prize money alongside competitors. Having impressed in the opening round, they once again put up a scintillating performance that left everyone in the auditorium applauding.
Apparently, the young dancers performed their own song crafted in Luganda and went ahead to mix it up with traditional dances.
All the judges were impressed, with Simon Cowell saying “There was a lot of pressure especially when you’re at this stage of the competition and to perform your own song as well oh my goodness. I don’t know what it was but there was a little bit of magic potion in it. And this is what this show should all be about.”
The other judges couldn’t agree more as they all applauded the teenagers. However, when it came to the sieving process, unfortunately, they couldn’t move to the next round. They will have to audition for the next tournament if they are still interested.
Apparently, the group managed by Dauda Kavuma has been raising the Ugandan flag high for some time now. Last year, they came 6th in the Britain’s Got Talent competition.
They captured everyone’s heart with their exciting performance and since then, they have gone to big places.
