Tucheze International’s Greatest Achievements In Uganda

On 8th May 2018, a deal/initial partnership agreement was reached after successful negotiations between Tucheze International and Kings’ Norton International School owners, directors plus the Head teacher. Both parties agreed to working together beginning this second term.

On 23rd May, Godfrey Tebandeke represented Tucheze International at the 3 day Inspire strategy implementation partners workshop held in beautiful Imperial Resort Beach Hotel Entebbe. The partners workshop is aimed at ending Child violence. Many thanks to sponsors and partners world Vision Uganda.

Many thanks to our partners World Vision Uganda and the donors of the grant through which INSPIRE, a pilot project is sponsored. The pilot project is to run for one year after which it will be rolled out to the rest of the country, should it be deemed successful.

Tucheze International together with all the selected partners for this ending violence pilot project are committed to this cause.

At Tucheze International, we are using sports as a tool to achieve sport for development goals.

On 6th June, some Tucheze International team members met with the Director at new partners Kings’ Norton International School Located in Wakiso to look at the Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU).

Six Tucheze International coaches joined other CDOs being trained on Inspire strategies. The coaches will be supporting teachers in about 70 schools across the country.

All aimed at ending violence against children. Mityana is the first district chosen for this one year pilot project. If deemed successful, the project will be rolled out to the rest of the country. Many thanks to Partners World Vision Uganda.

We are proud of our coaches who have done a tremendous job travelling to support different schools in Mityana district, Uganda. All part of the Inspire programme.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Many thanks to TPO for teaching about this effective and proven method of dealing with psycho – social challenges of teenagers and adolescents. Many thanks to Tucheze International coaches and volunteers who were a part of this workshop.

Many thanks to Tucheze International coaches who did a very good job coaching children at Kings’ Norton International School. Many thanks to the teachers who helped out. The games normally includes Football, basketball, Netball and Badminton.

Introducing children to different sporting activities helps them not only physically, but mentally as well. The children want more of it. It was a joy seeing the delight on the children’s faces.

Tucheze International advises children and young people on how to stay in sports.

Recently, Tucheze International coaches worked in different schools in Mityana. In partnership with World Vision Uganda, implementing ASPIRE project using ASPIRE strategies.

Congratulations to Tucheze International who are now a fully registered charity both in Uganda and The Netherlands.
