Two NBS Journalists Quit Media In Space Of Two Weeks

Two NBS journalists have quit the station within a space of only two weeks to go on with their own businesses.

Daniel Lutaaya, one of the most grounded political journalists surprised every one last week when he announced that he is moving on to something different.

Lutaaya is currently running his own photography company and concentrating on growing it into a bigger company.

As people were still healing from that, Bukyana Julius, an anchor of NBS as well decided to quit. He chose to go to politics to pursue a seat in the East African Legislative Assembly.

Most of the people who have left NBS have either gone for politics or to grow their personal businesses. Obviously, this is expected in any organization but if it becomes rampant, it’s alarming.

Unfortunately, the public has a perspective with which they see NBS journalists. Already some members of the public are tarnishing Lutaaya’s business before it even starts.

This is all because of the 2021 elections where very many people accused NBS of conniving with the government for them to stay home in power.

However, what the journalists are doing is also a good thing. Gone are days where people stick to employment till they die without even investing in any thing.

These two and more are an example that employment can actually provide capital to start up your own thing.
