Uganda Cranes International Khalid Aucho Leaves Egyptian Side

Uganda Cranes player Khalid Aucho took to his Facebook page to announce he has part ways with Egyptian side El Makasa. Aucho joined the club two years ago in 2019 on a two-year deal.

They never contract and he will have to look for a new club for the next season. The defensive midfielder thanked his team for the opportunity they had given him and wished them all the best.

“Thank you team El Makasa SC for being with me all these 2 years. I was humbled to be a part of you in good and bad. We remained as family. May Allah bless you all of guys in the rest of the games and the rest to come. Thank you a lot for everything and to my fans, I will let you know my next destination soon. Love you all.” Aucho posted.

Khalid Aucho made 14 appearances for El Makasa and scored 2 goals.

Prior to joining El Makasa, Aucho had played for clubs like Gor Mahia, Baroka, Red Star Belgrade and Churchill brothers in India.

He’s made over 45 appearances for the national team the Uganda Cranes and scored 2 goals.

The national team froze Aucho for various reasons but the new coach might recall back since he was one of his favorites in his first stint.
