The Uganda Cranes To Play Against Zanzibar In The CECAFA 2017 Semi Finals

The Uganda cranes team came in the 2017 CECAFA Tournament as The Defending Champions and all time record winners of the tournment.

Uganda Cranes team participation in this year’s CECAFA Tournament started on a low start after being held to a goalless draw by Burundi.

Uganda cranes which was placed in group B with Burundi, S.sudan and Ethopia

Ethiopia had to struggle for three(3) points in their second game after the goalless draw with Niyungeko’s side the swallows of Burundi in the buklungu stadium in kakamega.

In the second game of the defending champions, Uganda cranes was taken on another Underdog team that is S.Sudan which had dropped three points in their first game in a 3-0 loss against Ethopia.

In game two of Uganda cranes facing S.Sudan , Uganda cranes managed to collect the 3 points with a game full of goals with a few changes made by coach basena.

The cranes team managed to beat S.Sudan 5-1 With Players like Milton Karisa, Hood Kaweesa, Derrick Nsibambi who managed to get a brace and Nicolas wadada.

The cranes team are now in the semi finals after toping the table in their group with a 1-1 draw, that they managed to get against Ethiopia which raised their points to five(5) points and the goal difference of four(4) goals above Burundi who had Five(5) points and the goal difference of 3 goals.

Uganda cranes are to play this Friday on 15^th December 2017 against Zanzibar in the 2^nd semifinals.
